Betty Crocker GF/CF cookies

Cookie Monster GABE .

The box. :)

Again...Cookie Monster!

The cookies when they came out of the oven. :)

We decided to try the new Betty Crocker chocolate chip cookies and here are some pics of how they turned out. Next we are going to try the brownies! :)

P.S~ I added an extra egg because the batter was WAY too dry without it. I think either they are just naturally more crumbly or the extra egg made it more crumbly. BUT, they taste great according to Gabe. :)

  2. I'm new to reading blogs but I find yours very interesting because our boys have so many similarities. We went to one DAN Doctor in our area but had a really bad experience. I'm not going to give up though. I will find another one that can hopefully help us. I wish we lived closer, I know I could learn a lot from you in this incredibly hard and loney situation. Thank you.

  3. Hi Angela- If I can help you in any way please let me know. My email address is jadepjoseph@gmail.com so we could connect that way if you want! I understand how lonely it is! Don't give up....our kids are worth every ounce of fight we have in us!

  5. Just found your blog, Gabe is adorable, my youngest just started kindergarten this year too...and we're in Northwest Indiana...I think most GF/CF foods tend to be crumbly...been wanting to try these cookies/brownies, but haven't yet, glad to know Gabe thinks their good :)

  6. Hi. I linked over to your blog from another one. I have three kids on the autism spectrum and we are GFCF (and my 8 year old is allergic to peanuts as well, so we are peanut free too.)

I have friends sending me the Betty Crocker GFCF cake mixes and brownie mix. After reading how well your cookies turned out, I'm actually hopeful!! I'll be posting a review on my Mommy In Real Life blog. Fingers crossed!

  7. Tiffany- The brownies were amazing. I am not GFCF and could not tell the difference. The cookies were Gabe's favorite, but I could tell they were GF. As long as he likes them that is all that matters though. :) Hope your kids liked them as well! :) Our Wal-Mart carries them now, Krogers, Meijer, etc. Most places have them for $3.99 a box, which is cheap!
